Wisteria and Old Shacks

When you’re talking about a drool worthy scene to paint, this ranks right up there – sunshine, shadows, ratty old wood and flowers that practically drip from the trees. I mean, really.

With this puppy I decided to pull out my Winsor Newton Oils and what a difference in painting. So forgiving. Oil, in my book, is both a blessing and a curse. Blessing because, well, the drying time (see forgiving part). Curse? The DRYING TIME! I painted this last week and still I can’t touch. I want to add it to the shop but, no. Not yet. So…

If you’ve got a hankering to own this 8″ x 8″ original on canvas board just give me a shout. As I said on Instagram it’ll be dry in about 50 years. (wink, wink)
