52 Weeks of Print: 41/52 Two Color Relief Print

So, the deeper I fall into the printmaking black hole, the deeper I want to go - no joke. It's crazy addictive so much so that I find myself thinking/dreaming of it while in that hazy state of half sleep/half awake. Anywho...
This week I was interested in creating a multi-color print and in doing so, I fell into the (other) rabbit hole of DIY printmaking jigs. Came up with the easiest/cheapest solution for myself using supplies on hand and will delve into that later this week.

Suffice it to say, since my cheapo solution worked, I happily present you with week 41 - yet another flying creature. Really, really love little creatures - again, not in reality, but in art.

Because of my sad lack of printmaking ink, I had to substitute blue for gray and then had to watercolor in a bit of yellow. Another excuse to head to Dick Blick. So sad.
