focus on life: love
Care to guess?
Yes, we love Sophie. But we're talking about another focus on love.
My sweet Sophie loves lots of things - her family, squirrels, food, squirrels. But she seems to have a special place in her heart for squeaky, squishy things. Sophie would never harm anything squishy - unless it breathes and is shaped like a squirrel - or a lizard. In short, this girl adores her toys.
This Saturday's Focus on Life theme (over at Sally Russick's Studio Sublime blog) is a visual representation of love. Head over and visit and...well...spread the love.
Oh! Dogs and their toys! Sometimes it really is true love.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with Sophie! LOVE the last pic!
ReplyDeleteShe's a pretty girl. I don't have squirrels but I do have mice....
ReplyDeleteHaha, she seems like a fun little girl :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lori,
ReplyDeleteSophie is so adorable with her toys. My Chewy love his toys to shreds literally.

LOL I can so understand. We have a rescue labradoodle, which I mistakenly gave a Reese's Pieces pillow to for Christmas last year, and still waiting for the squeaker in it to give out!
ReplyDeleteSophie is such a gorgeous dog... I feel like I know her sometimes. My pepper has a soft hedgehog toy ( amongst others) which she is good at using as a small pillow sometimes. Love Soph's collection.

our pets give us a special love, don't they?

I do love your Sophie and I am a bit envious that she is gentle with her plushies. One of mine rips shreds them in 5 minutes. And the other (the lab) shakes them to pieces.
ReplyDeleteI love Sophie! The last shot, her nose, spectacular. There is nothing like the love of a pet.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable face!! gorgeous Lori
ReplyDeleteI love that last photo so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! My fav is the last photo. Most dogs are all about the nose!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics! That last one should be printed and hung on your wall!!! I have a dog like that, loves anything squeaky! We always have a bet when we get her new toys how long it will take to get the squeaker out!!!! And the duck I see in her "toy box", we have one toooo...lol. Do we dote on our animals or what!!!
ReplyDeleteBella is our first pup that has an attachment to toys, if she does not figure out how to destroy it in the first 24 hours then it is a keeper.
ReplyDeleteWe have always had at least three dogs so when there were toys involved there would be a fight. They are just like people they want what ever someone else has.
Bella is our first little dog so I think the rest of the pack let her have her toys because they really don't think she is a dog.
Ha! I love that so many of us focused this challenge on your pets. Sophie is precious!
ReplyDeleteLori, I want to give Sophie a big kiss of her cute nose! I can definitely feel the love she has for her toys, squirrels!
ReplyDeleteLori I love the perspective on that last shot! I can just about feel her breath! Beautiful photography!
ReplyDeleteLori I love your photos of Sophie! That last photo is just so adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh Sophie - my Moose completely understands. He loves them best when they squeak.
ReplyDeleteSophie is so beautiful! She completely stole my heart in that last photo!
ReplyDeleteShe is such a sweetie!! I just love her face! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the closeup picture of Sophie with the toy in her mouth.
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos. I love seeing Sophie and it's awesome to see her with her favorite toys.
ReplyDeletehehe, adorable! I've never had a dog but my best friend did growing up. That dog loved tennis balls more than just about anything. She's gone now, but when I think of her it's almost always her shoving a slobbery ball towards me or her snout resting on my thigh, waiting.
ReplyDeleteSweet photos. I especially like the last one! I too adore my dog; life is filled with more love because of her. Her favorite toys are ropes-she loves to chew on them until they are shreds of fiber!
ReplyDeleteMy first dog was a black lab Sophie! I gasped when I started reading... oh that nose!
ReplyDeleteI really love your photos, especially the last one of Sophie! She is truly adorable! She looks to be such a sweet girl. Thank you for sharing her photos with us!
ReplyDeleteOMG Lori, I laughed out loud at that last picture! How totally adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour Sophie looks so precious and well-loved.
ReplyDeleteSuch a loving expression on Sophie's face!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shots! Sophie's so beautiful and she looks so happy and content w/her toys!! That's love.
