sad things, updates, studios, birthdays & a virus

SPOILER ALERT! If you're watching Downton Abbey and missed last night's episode, TURN AWAY! Skip this paragraph quickly. Okay, now that we've settled that, I'll just dive in and lead with the worst. There was a death on Downton Abbey last night which shook us to our very core. Core! Thought I'd never convince Jessie that it's just a fictional story and that she doesn't need to worry about what's going to happen to BLANK and the BLANK.

Point 2) Don't ever take Excedrin Migraine before bed as it contains (and I didn't know this until 2:00 a.m.) caffeine. And when I did fall asleep, I dreamt of Downton Abbey, worrying about BLANK & the BLANK.

Point 3) Would anyone like an expressive, rather sweet black lab? Because I woke this morning to poor Sophie's virus of biblical proportions. TMI? Moving along...

Did I let any of this get me down? Hells yeah! Wouldn't you? But after a good, long cry...

I updated my About page. (the image shown above is part of that update)

And last but certainly not least, we celebrate the 20th (egad!) birthday of that little cutie patootie in the middle. That's a quick shot of said cutie patootie and her cutie patootie pals prior to heading off to church yesterday.  Aren't they adorable...and so old!!!

How's your week so far?

  2. What a bunch of beauties!

Last night - I had chills watching that scene - it was rather horrific! And so, so, sad....one of our fav characters. I wonder the reason (beyond drama)?

Love your about page. I need a week to work on all things blog/website/etsy, etc. and never seem to have the time!

And, no thank you on the doggy....

  3. I have not found Downton Abbey but I would love to buy the seasons. But by the time I get there it will be so new to me that I will have forgotten this little spoiler alert.

Happy birthday cutie patootie! Egads but she is beautiful. And her pals are too!

And as much as I would love to have a doggie, and a lab at that, (or rather Mr TesoriTrovati would) I will have to pass. Hope Miss Sophie feels better right quick!

    Enjoy the day. Erin

  4. Wow, 20 already??? Time flies. And she looks healthy and happy :))

Yeah, caffeine is one of the best things for a migraine, as we well know in our house. Jamie took his migraine meds too late last week, too, and had the same problem.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!!!

  5. I cried and cried last night watching it :( I seem to always lose my favorites on shows! I can't see why they felt the need to do that! Totally heartbreaking!

    Hope Sophie feels better soon!

Happy Birthday to your lovely girl! Time flies, doesn't it? My eldest is turning seven this June and I'm not sure where the last seven years went...
