Slowly but surely, we have eased into Christmas. The tree sparkles and inspires. Oreo, forever curious, already has sap in her fur as she does each year. Gifts have been wrapped, the family is home and life is slowing. Feels good.

There is something so special about a kitty under the tree. Years ago I had a cat who loved the Christmas tree so much that she stayed under it almost constantly until it came down each year. Seeing a Christmas tree always makes me think of her :)
ReplyDeleteYes, what is it with the cats and the trees? Mine are living under it. Chewing on little bows, knocking down the decoration! They have the most fun during these days!

ReplyDeleteSofia, we gave up on bows years ago. Our cat has a thing about glue - I think it's a sick addiction. :)
