Two new choices using the watercolor sketch shown above. I like both better than the first.
I'm sure there will be many more before I make a final decision.
Opinions are welcome. Please.

  1. Such an artist! I like the new logo on the left...the one with "Studio" in one color and "Waterstone" in another, as opposed to "SW"....HOWEVER, I love them both! Love it when you show glimpses of your artwork!

  3. Hey! As for the logos, I like the one on the left, but I still think you should draw it all out, like the Sketchbook one at the top. Would make it completely you!

I am reading The Story Sisters by Alice Hoffman. Enjoying it so far. Those girls are intriguing. Also, I would highly recommend Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick. It is part graphic novel, and it is a YA novel, but a wonderful story blending the drawings and weaving the words. The amount of research that goes into his books is remarkable (he wrote The Invention of Hugo Cabret which I would also highly recommend). And I also read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Superb. It is going to be made into a movie. It has to be a first that I read a book before the movie version! And I read at Christmas Carlos Ruiz Zafon's book The Angel's Game. I love his books. I have not delved into the Hunger Games. Maybe I will from your recommendation.

    Enjoy the day!

  6. Of the new choices, the logo on the left is my favorite. I like the one on the right, but the SW makes it a bit busy to read. Just my initial reaction anyway.

  7. Like everyone else, I like the one on the left best. I'm so in awe of your talent!
I just read The Do-Over by Kathy Dunehoff. It was laugh out loud funny!

  8. You are so lucky to be able to paint and draw!

I LOVED The Hunger Games! Are you on GoodReads? http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/382208-lori-anderson is my profile and I review everything I've read, so you might find some good things there!

  10. Opinion is the one on the left is on the right track. Can't wait to see where you go from here. The next book on my reading list is Art and Fear:Observations on the perils and rewards of art making by Bayles and Orland.
I've read some good reviews and passages and it's so intriguing.
