It's not all about the work here in Ohio this week. I'm playing a little, too. Embroidery - something I love and never seem to find the time to do.

I know what you mean! Sometimes I get so wrapped up in making jewelry that I neglect other craft passions that I have. It's good to mix up the routine sometimes.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I haven't done any needlework in years. Yet I grew up with needle workers and learning at a very young age. This little snippet of yours is quite inspiring. I can see these incorporated into the things you make. Time away is good, no?

I love embroidery. When I was in my 20's I made a crazy quilt vest just so I could go thru the whole book the Encyclopedia of Embroidery and try almost ever stitch. I love hand stitching sometimes.
