embroidery

It's not all about the work here in Ohio this week. I'm playing a little, too. Embroidery - something I love and never seem to find the time to do.

Embroidery, reading, and movies in the afternoon.
I think I needed this and didn't even know it.

Who knew?

  1. I know what you mean! Sometimes I get so wrapped up in making jewelry that I neglect other craft passions that I have. It's good to mix up the routine sometimes.

  3. Oh my goodness, I haven't done any needlework in years. Yet I grew up with needle workers and learning at a very young age. This little snippet of yours is quite inspiring. I can see these incorporated into the things you make. Time away is good, no?

  4. I too know what you mean...I have been on a jewelry binge for three years and am more than ready to paint mixed media...large canvas mixed media!
I do love the embroidery piece, fibers is another love of mine.

    Enjoy Ohio....

  5. I love embroidery. When I was in my 20's I made a crazy quilt vest just so I could go thru the whole book the Encyclopedia of Embroidery and try almost ever stitch. I love hand stitching sometimes.
