I've had this white crochet skirt for years and actually had it in the Goodwill pile, but something kept holding me back. This weekend, inspiration struck.
What do you have to do? Pull it northward and belt (or don't).
The skirt lining was the ideal length and the ties were already beaded!

ReplyDeleteOh, I love that! But, sadly, I don't have a skirt that looks that good to form into a diy dress. Or a belt that wide and cute. The only thing I have out of that outfit is the jean jacket. :(

lol. Glass is half full!! How many elastic waste skirts can you find at Goodwill? Hundreds. I guarantee that if you tried it, it would work. Guarantee! But I'm laughing over your comments. :)
