She slept like a baby, disturbed only by the lightening and thunder.
(so did the pup)
She crouched and ran and tried to hide but eventually ran to my lap and buried her head.
We collected all of the necessities and stashed them in the basement. Thankfully we didn't need to put them to use.
Our prayers go out to the ones who weren't so lucky - to the families and the survivors.

Thank goodness, you're all OK. I will take blizzards over tornados any day.
