it's a wrap: studio saturday
I don't know about you, but this has been a busy week! Where to begin? Let's begin with the good news. I'm getting an assistant! Good Lord and hallelujah almighty! There IS a light at the end of the tunnel...or so I'm told.
The model is finishing up school and has agreed to work for me between school and, well, big girl school (a.k.a. college). She felt bad accepting actual wages so we settled on gas for her car and new clothes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I got the raw end of that deal.

Is this not gorgeous? It sold very quickly. But the good news is that more are on the horizon by the end of the weekend.

Bring on the "Peace Frogs"! Mom and I love the Peace Frog shirt - we have a LARGE collection of them. Good things that happened this week - The weather was gorgeous and I was able to start walking outside again and mom has an answer to her neck issues and we now have a plan of action, oh and this weekend we will be working in the studio so new things to be created - YIPPEE! Have a wonderful weekend! Oh, and I am in love with the table on casters too - awsome studio feature artist!

ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly. I wish I had gotten a gazillion yards of that fabric because everyone loves it. And the funny thing is that I've held onto it for so long thinking people didn't like orange.

I had a great week in the sales department, I so appreciate my customers, they just keep those creative juices flowing.
