it's a wrap: studio saturday
After the eventful anniversary week last week and then working to adjust to the "new" industrial, I feel a little off schedule! Starting today, I'm back in the game and, of course, where would we be without a weekly studio wrap/journal entry? Without further ado, here is my week in review.

This was a custom project for two lucky bridesmaids.
Their clutches are made from recycled leather.

Recycled suede. It's in the shop.
This one sold also.

My first big project with the Juki. Finished it late yesterday before being forced going to a business dinner. I'll probably list it today. Supa sweet, recycled leather.
That's it for me! How about you?

I would LOVE to see.
Have a great weekend!

It's looking like your trying to wear out your Zuki !!! Love those leather flowers : ) Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThat brown leather suede makeup bag is really gorgeous! Clever reusing the snaps!
ReplyDeleteHow's the Juki? I am getting so tired of breaking needles and having fits from my poor machine.. not her fault - I am pushing her wayyy past her manufactured regulations... she's solid too all metal Bernina heavy heavy .. but I can't even get some layers under the pressure foot. I feel doomed to little makeup bags and I want to create BAGS!!!
Love, love the new bags! Lisa, I feel your pain......
ReplyDeleteThanks! The Juki is great. I'm amazed at the ease. But it is taking a little time to get control of it because of the speed.
ReplyDeleteI can also feel your pain. My Singer is in desperate need of a tune-up, but I can't do without it before Christmas. Just hoping it plugs along until January. :)
Your work is absolutely gorgeous! I can't even imagine the skills you possess to work so nicely with fabric and leather. I'm certainly adding your shop to my favorites since I'll be needing a new wallet soon.
ReplyDeleteYour bags are always beautiful. Looks like you have been busy!
ReplyDeleteWhere's everybodys McLinky???....I feel like McStinky all alone out there : (
