an anniversary, a giveaway, and a discount
I've been going on about this week so much so that you're maybe a little sick of the teasing and hints. So sorry. I was excited. Waterstone's blogging anniversary is this Saturday. I began my blogosphere adventures on October 9, 2008. Get it? 10/09/08. It's like I planned it or something! Of course, we all know I'm not that intelligent. It was a fluke. Serendipity.
Counting down to the end of the week, I'm having a Waterstone giveaway EVERY day. I'll also be offering surprise discounts on different items from the shop. So if you're having visions of Christmas gifts or me gifts, this would be a great week to put it to action!

Just one favorite movie?? Um. I very much enjoyed 'Kick Ass' recently, so that is my favorite movie for the moment. I love that there is a female heroine that, well, kicks ass of all the baddies.
ReplyDeleteI'm already a fan on Facebook :)
ReplyDeleteThe movie question is a tough one... I LOVE movies but if I have to pick just one, it would be Avatar.
I'm a Facebook fan - but as for the movie. Well, for a long time it was the Sound of Music, but I love Pride and Pred. (BBC TV version) and Philodelphia is also a favourite.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite of all time is Pride and Prejudice, but the 1996 version with Colin Firth, the ORIGINAL Mr. Darcy. The best ever.
ReplyDeletethanks for the giveaway, and discounts. I've been eyeing another bag of yours....
My favorite movie is The Princess Bride.
ReplyDeleteI am a friend on facebook!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite varies based on season, mood, who i'm watching with, etc....so for now I'll have to go with what I watched last, Say Anything. Lloyd Dobbler. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteFavorite movies are hard to answer--mine change depending on my mood. :) From childhood, it's The Goonies! and from adulthood, it's Oh Brother, Where Art Thou. Heading over to Facebook right now--Happy blogging anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, fave movie is tough - I'll go with Sound of Music? Already a facebook fan

ReplyDeleteGreat giveaways and congrats on the Anniversary and already a FB fan. Tough question about fav movies - the old Star Wars, I didn't care for the new ones and I love this military movie called Islands of Stone.
ReplyDeleteMom's favorite movie is Avatar, I have lost count on the number of times she has watched that movie. She loves, loves the special effects!
Have a great week.
Beth and Evie
Congrats on your anniversary lady! St. Elmo's Fire is my all time favorite movie. It has my favorite place, DC and my favorite group of actors, the Brat Pack!
ReplyDeleteHard to pick one, but I would say..Braveheart.
ReplyDeleteI really like the National Treaure movies but all time favorite would have to be Big. I don't know why but I still love that movie.
ReplyDeleteI guess maybe I'm thinking growing up is not all that it is cracked up to be...... :)
Congrats on the blogiversary! I'm already a Facebook fan. My favorite movie is probably Out of Africa. Am seriously loving Robin Hood with Russell Crowe, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm squeeking in my comment...favorite movie? The Lord of the Rings....but really b/c of the book. I am amazed at how Tolkien could create such humanity in non-human characters. It is the ultimate story of the human struggle between good and bad and makes me cry every time.
