If you could be given another talent or ability, what would you want it to be?
Have you ever - really - tried to perfect this ability in yourself?

I'll go first.
I've always wanted to sing. Not just sing but sing beautifully.
Unfortunately, I can't carry a tune. I lip sync in church.

I think off the top of my head I would say play the piano. Or maybe be a really great seamstress. Hmmm, this gets me to thinking.

ReplyDeleteI would love to play guitar. That would be both electric (rock) and classical styles of playing.
ReplyDeletePlaying off something I do well, eating- I would love to be a restaurant reviewer. Travel all around the world trying different foods.
ReplyDeleteI would love to dance. I watched the end of "So You Think You Can Dance" last week and those guys were spectacular! That is the type of dancing I would love to do.

ReplyDeleteExcept for the flying, animal whisperer, and natural ability to sing, I'd say we've all listed doable things! Right?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could play the violin, but I have never once held one to try. I also wish I was fluent in other languages, which is more likely to be pursued and mastered than the violin.
ReplyDeleteI wouldnt mind having some rhythm so that I can dance too. Any type of dancing... Really not fussy. I still dance like a toddler. Arms in the air with the ocassional knee bend and wobble from side to side!

ReplyDeleteAt first I wanted to have a ability to learn foreign languages without effort, especially Japanese.
ReplyDeleteBut now I think I really want to be an excellent photographer whose even quick simple snapshots make you in awe :-)
Wish I could be one of those people who can work a room...ah, to have no fear of striking up a conversation with a stranger...

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, so many things!! Singing is one of mine, definitely. Then the guitar, figure skating, and speaking multiple languages, including rare ones. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my I've actually had this in the back of my mind for days. When I first went to college I went to an art school for graphic design. It was a bad year and I left , took off a year and went back as a biology major.I still wish I finished my graphic design major and kick myself a lot for changing majors.Plus I can still BARELY use a computer !
