new bags and missing toes

First of all - THE MODEL IS BACK ON DUTY! Oh boy, was that ever a tough week. No, it's not that I missed her or anything. I just missed her modeling. You may recall my sad attempt at being a substitute while simultaneously using the self timer on the camera. Yeah. Not a good idea. So anyway, once my brain swam out of it's post vacation, semi-catatonic state, I got the old tush in gear and began to make a few things. Here's a peek...

Aren't her arms and little feet pretty? I'm so glad she's back. Not sure what happened to one of her toes. Note to self - ask model if she lost a toe at summer camp.

I love this modern fabric. The green spot on the front is embroidered and matches the lining.

I got more of the script fabric. This tote has a recycled leather belt handle
and two zippered suede pockets.

This bag is huge and I am in love with it. I want it because it's lightweight and holds practically anything. Jessie - oops, the model says you could hide a baby inside.
That's just a little scary.

One of the bags I tried to photograph with the self timer.
This attempt turned out much better.

It's pretty clear that I'm going through some sort of blue phase at the moment.

I've made four cell phone cases so far. The thought of making them was a happy accident - serendipity. Now I'm wondering what's next around the corner.

So, what's next for you?
Is it something you create with your hands, something delicious to eat, or a wonderful trip?
What's your obsession?

  1. This missing toe isn't going to impact babysitting abilities, is it? It's all about me ;)

What's next for me? Sleep and then a Mexican dinner with friends Saturday night. Can. Not. Wait.

  5. The missing toe hasn't impacted her life thus far, so I think babysitting will resume as expected.
